About Me

My photo
Connie L. Peters
My husband and I have been married since 1979 and have a daughter and a son who live in Phoenix. I homeschooled both of my kids for most of their school years. For eighteen years, my husband and I were host home providers to people with developmental disabilities. I like to write fiction, poetry, devotions and creative nonfiction (both for children and adults). I was on the board for Southwest Christian Writers for about twenty-five years. I enjoy drawing and painting, church-going, singing, crocheting, reading, hiking, kayaking, watching movies, playing Canasta and Scrabble, and traveling. I have traveled to all fifty states, Puerto Rico and other Caribbean Countries, Canada, Mexico, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, England, France, Germany, Kenya and Peru.. I grew up in western Pennsylvania and have four sisters who are scattered across the nation. We have had reunions every other year since 2000.
