Poetic Asides Haunted .

Haunted
(gwawdodyn byr)

Songs in my head make me feel haunted
They won’t go away; I am taunted
Beauty is flaunted by its melody
So I will go on my way, undaunted

Poetic Blooming positive trait

Steady as She Goes

Steady as she goes, that’s what Hubby said

That’s about right, I suppose.

Determined, wherever I’m led

Steady as she goes

Persevering, Hubby knows
Faithful, steadfast, forty years wed
Plodding onward through highs and lows

Tenacious, unwavering, full steam ahead
Never stops, but often slows
Step by step, till I’m dead
Steady as she goes

PB roundel

The Roundel

The Roundel reads like a dance

Back and forth it cast its spell

It takes a turn with a prance

The Roundel

A poet’s thoughts it will tell

In rhythmic time if given chance

Ringing brightly as a bell

It can be laced with romance

It will drive and compel

It will retreat and advance

The Roundel

Description

Out the Window

Set in a mellow blue sky, the mountain’s sleeping.

Snow painted a pattern on its black sides.

A flat, straw-colored field stretches out between it

and two young trees swaying in the wind,

its little branches and twigs raised in hope.
