In a flash
A blinding light
A lightning strike
The idea came to me
The dream
The vision
The inspiration
To enrich my life
My world
My journey
But I didn’t have enough clout
Power
Influence
To pull it off
Maneuver
Manipulate
Accomplish
So it threw me off-center.
Off kilter
For a loop.
