Lord, I’m casting my cares on You,

for Your Word says You care for me.

So I give You my fears, worries

and overwhelming to-do lists. 

You are mighty and powerful.

Lord, I’m casting my cares on You.

All things are possible with You,

and You know what is best for me. 

Like boulders, fear can obstruct paths.

And worries can weigh even more.

Lord, I’m casting my cares on You.

I’m tired of getting blocked or crushed.

To-do lists—thousand-piece puzzles:

Hard to sort out, all look the same.

Can’t find edges, muddled middle.
