Lord, draw me nearer I pray.
Yes, I want You to stay
close by me and have Your way.
In my life, I feel I just play.
It thrills me when You say,
You love me anyway.
Keep the evil at bay
and help me not to stray.
May Your Holy Spirit sway
my thoughts throughout the day.
You’re the potter I’m the clay.
Be my Sun when skies are gray.
