Set Aside

 

My hearing needs some adjusting

My spiritual ears, that is.

May I, in Jesus, be trusting,

And know the voice that is His.  

Yours is the voice I strain to hear.

You, I desire to follow.

You can eliminate my fear.

You help me not be hollow. 

Open my eyes to see Your hand.

Open my ears to hear You.

Open my hand to heal the land.

Open my heart to be true.  

Pour out Your power in my life.

Please, help me be of service,

Putting aside hate and strife,

Plus worship while I do this.
