Sometimes it seems

demons of hell

kick people in the head

to get them out of bed

and keep on kicking

throughout the day

with loud noises, snubs,

discredits, caustic rubs,

harsh comments.

But angels retaliate

with compliments,

encouragements,

gifts and prayers.
