My Auntie’s House
A visit to my auntie’s house
I do remember it so well
No groveling about to tell
At times she cuddled with her spouse
The memories hide like a mouse
Rejecting sadness and despair
Amazed by how she’d love and care
A gasp of wonder at it all
We’d play, we’d dance, we’d have a ball
All worries melting while we’re there
I do remember it so well
No groveling about to tell
At times she cuddled with her spouse
The memories hide like a mouse
Rejecting sadness and despair
Amazed by how she’d love and care
A gasp of wonder at it all
We’d play, we’d dance, we’d have a ball
All worries melting while we’re there
