Ireland Eve

Facing the usual jitters.

Did I pray enough?

Did You speak to me

and I missed it?

Did my bullheadedness

get me into this?

Or are You lovingly

blessing me with this trip

and will watch over me

the whole time?

I know regardless

of how many stupid

things I do

You will work

them out for my good

because I love You

and am called

according to Your purpose.

And even if I’m foggy

on Your purpose for me,

I know that it’s Your will

that I pray, be thankful

and rejoice.  So here I am

praying, thank You

for the many things I enjoy

and I’m rejoicing today

in Your love and care

and salvation in Christ.
