Picking up Purple People

Our church youth group, about to paint the bus,

thought “the purple-people-picker-upper”

unique and fun and sounded good to us.

But some argued purple people transfer

was not what this good church had in its mind.

Yes, all common skin tones , we would chauffeur.

So we chose yellow-green just to be kind.

Christened “screaming yellow-green church machine.”

though calling it “the bean” we became inclined.

But we’d pick up purple people if seen.
