Morning Prayer

 Always There

 

Lord, in this quiet morning here at home,

I pause to check in now with You and smile.

I know that You are with me when I roam.

I have felt Your sweet presence in each mile.

Your steadfast love sustains me all the while.

So here as I sit in my comfy chair,

Acknowledging that You are always there,

And always so attentive when I pray.

I praise You that You’re wonderful and fair,

And with me whether home or far away.
