Went to Montepulciano
A medieval town on a hill
We enjoyed lasagna although
The diners in small room were shrill
Old buildings and quaint, narrow streets
We shopped for souvenirs and treats
Nestled in hills, vineyards, Cyprus
We slept clear to Rome on the bus
