With a Burst and a Pop

And so the surprise right before my eyes
It happened so unexpectedly
With a burst and pop, the water wouldn’t stop
We stood there as wet as could be
It flooded the floor. I opened the door
It gushed out and down the porch stairs
O what a bummer, we called the plumber
Since we were caught so unawares
The sink pipes were split. It cost quite a
bit.
It took some time for restoring
Then off to the store and I became poor
At least, now, I have new flooring
