What a Friend we have in Jesus, All our sins and griefs to bear! What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer! O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear, All because we do not carry everything to God in prayer.

What a Friend We Have in Jesus

 

W hen I’m feeling down, I

H ave a Friend I can

A lways

T urn to.

 

A nd He’s a great dependable Friend.

 

F aithfully, He listens and

R eacts to whatever I tell Him

I n love, acceptance and forgiveness. I have

E ndured many hard times which have only proved how much I

N eed Him to guide and

D irect me and offer His help.

 

W hen I’m out of sorts and not

E nthusiastic about life, He reminds me that

 

H umpty Dumpty can be put back together again. He’s

A ttentive to my prayers. He is

Vigilant in His love. His

E yes are on me.

 

I know His smile.

N ow and always.

 

J esus, my friend.
