To Honor God
We come together in worship singing to honor God,
As affectionate hearts soar and winging to honor God.
Hearts united in love, hope and joy offering their praises,
Assured before the throne, voices ringing to honor God.
The music and the singing uplift the name of Jesus.
The Holy Spirit moves, guiding and bringing honor to God.
Just as we are, we come before God, trading old for new.
Worldly cares on the altar we’re flinging to honor God.
He smiles and He speaks and He transforms dedicated hearts.
He whispers, Connie, my child, keep clinging to honor God.
