When Fairies Leave Their Homes
When fairies leave their little homes,
they don’t just walk out the door,
or give a little wave, a nod of the head,
a flutter of their wings or just say byebye.
They care about their Mom and Dad Fairies
and want to make absolutely, positively sure
that while they are out playing or learning
they leave only fine fuzzy fairy feelings.
So when fairies leave their homes,
they give their moms and dads
kisses and hugs and snuggles and smiles.
And their parents hug and kiss them back.
So when they go out to school or play,
warm feelings fill their tiny tummies
until it’s time to go back home again.
And it makes Mom and Dad feel good, too.
