It’s Like This
It’s like this—scattered straight pins
When my to-do list is how my day begins
And when I add in what I want to do
I start my day feeling blue
And feeling like nobody wins
When my to-do list is how my day begins
And when I add in what I want to do
I start my day feeling blue
And feeling like nobody wins
These scattered thoughts feel like sins
Then my orientation spins
What’s going to see me through?
t’s like this.
I pray, despite the dins
Slowly the frustration thins
I pick up a pin or two
And begin my day anew
Allowing giggles and grins
It’s like this.
