Brush of Paint

I think about what could be done

If I was out having some fun

This gets tiring, is my complaint

Swish, swish, swish goes my brush of paint

I think this color isn’t right

It’s kind of blue but should be white

Wouldn’t periwinkle be quaint?

With these colors I’ll be content

Before my time and money’s spent

I need to practice some restraint
