God’s Presence
As we draw close to God in
prayer
We’ll find that He is
always there
And drawing closer to His
child
We’ll sense a goodness
that is rare
We may feel sinful, poor
or wild
But know in Christ we’re
reconciled
He promises a listening
ear
Accepted, since He was reviled
Whatever happens year to
year
There is no need to fret
or fear
Aware of every pain and
tear
His presence will be
always near
