An Almost Rumor

 

My sister, who looks a lot like me,

and her husband visited my state.

They attended church with me.

A friend of mine said,

“I wondered why you were sitting

so close to a handsome stranger.

I could have started a rumor!”

Fortunately, she looked up

and saw me sitting nearby.

Things are not always as they appear.
