Abecedarian

 Alphabet Prayer

 

I offer adoration to You, Lord.

Strengthen my belief in who You are.

Confessions clear the air between You and me.

I need Your direction that I may go far.

 

Encouragement, too, for this journey,

Faith to see beyond what my eyes see,

Grace that enables me to do Your will.  

I need Your help to set me free.

 

Thanks for Your intervention on my behalf,

Your ability to make things just and right,

Let Your Kindness flow throw me to others.

May Your unconditional love be my light.

 

Lord, stir me with Your motivation,

And feed me nutrition of the soul.

Open Your ways before me.

Grant me power and make me whole.

Let quietness calm my spirit,

Divine romance be my joy.

Let Your Spirit sustain me.

Your truth may I employ.

 

May understanding be my foundation.

That I may learn to walk in victory.

May I live by Your Word,

Your excitement for all to see.

 

May youthfulness strengthen as I age.

And may Your zeal move me to engage.
