One Day

 

One day, I’ll be thin again.

One day, I’ll complete a novel in verse.

One day, I’ll finish and publish my novels.

One day, I’ll get my website up.

One day, I’ll play the ukelele well.

One day, I’ll speak Spanish fluently.

One day, I’ll habitually paint plein air.

One day, I’ll buy a kayak.

One day, I’ll buy an ebike.

One day, I’ll go to Australia.

One day, I’ll visit Israel.

One day, I’ll explore Iceland.

One day, I’ll see Niagara Falls.

One day, none of that will matter.

Or will it?

Will the seeds I plant here grow to fruition?

Will there be good fruit?

One day, I’ll know.
