Spare Rooms
I’m at the age I have two
spare bedrooms
which I am redecorating after
a flood.
One serves as my office with
periwinkle walls.
The other will be my sun room
with a patio door
leading out to a large porch and
back yard.
I painted the walls in various
shades of orange.
It will also serves as my exercise room,
my Jake room, where my charge
with
autism stays when he comes to
visit,
and my music room where I
practice ukulele.
Soon to be added décor are my
husband’s
bass and acoustic guitars,
two violins,
my ukulele, harmonica, Irish
flute, drum,
and two tambourines. I look forward
to a lot of life and inspiration
in that room.
