Beyond Feelings
Sometimes I think that God is faraway.
And I feel close to nothing when I pray.
But I
recall the things He’s done for me.
My faith in His great love is here to stay.
He sent His Son, from sin to set us free.
He answers prayers (perhaps not speedily).
He does what’s best for those He loves, it’s
true.
With God I so wholeheartedly agree.
The Lord’s not far but near to me and you.
Eternal love will always see us through.
To love Him back’s the best thing we can do.
