 Clear Across the Country

 

Clear across the country in a verdant valley

My four sisters and I got our start

I love the mountains of Colorado

But green hills and trees are in my heart

 

Clear across the country in a verdant valley

Most friends and family are all gone

Our little house is no longer there

Trees became giants where once was lawn

 

Clear across the country in a verdant valley

Few remember the lives lived there

But we five girls have lots of memories

That with our kids and grandkids we’ll share
