Pieces
My life is a million-piece
jigsaw puzzle
the Lord is
patiently putting together.
Sometimes I get
angry at the dark colors
of pain,
perplexities, trials, troubles and grief.
And at times I’m
bored with endless shades of blue,
the hamster
wheel of daily chores and routine.
Often I’m amazed
at how many colors
and details are
contained in one little piece
like in beautiful
Thomas Kinkaid puzzles:
relationships,
travels, adventures, projects.
Unlike puzzles
with pictures for reference
I don’t know
what the complete puzzle will be,
but God does
and He’s a fantastic artist.
