Hello Friend
Today marks the
44th anniversary
of a wonderful
beginning.
I remember in the
middle of the night
looking into two
dark steely eyes
and saying, “Hello
friend.”
Oh, we’ve had our
ups and downs,
like all mothers
and daughters do.
But we remain
friends.
