Twenty, Twenty-five
The year twenty-five is winding up.
We have Christmas yet to go.
Plugging along and singing a song.
Did I reach my goals? I do not know.
I set goals at the start of each year.
Set out with what’s before me.
Singing a song and plugging along.
Thanking Lord Jesus who set me free.
Some goals have followed me through the years.
They remain for year to come.
Plugging along and singing a song.
I’ll just thank God for what has been done.
