A Dream
The fire burns brightly in the cabin hearth.
Frost paints the windows in a grand
design.
I’m waiting here for a good friend of
mine.
Right now, it seems the warmest place
on earth.
It’s such a simple moment but great worth.
The music softly plays in strings so
fine.
I drink my tea, while others might
like wine.
The fire burns brightly in the cabin
hearth.
At last, he enters, I’ve known him
since birth.
Our spirits seem to always
be aligned.
My next-door neighbor welcomed, we
recline.
Right now, it seems the
warmest place on earth.
The fire burns brightly in the cabin
hearth.
Pick up where we left off and then we
dine.
Right now, it seems the warmest place
on earth.
