Poem Away Envelope Sonnet

Winter Ditch Day

What a wonderful day it was
When snow storm turned the campus white
The winter scene tingled our spines
No  arguing, complaints or whines
The wind had sculpted quite a sight
That’s why we students were abuzz

This world invited us to play
Which we agreed that snowy day

We couldn’t wait for class to end
Abandoned work and grabbed our sleds
Professors watched and cheered us on
And wondered at wild things we’d done
We played till frozen, toes to heads,
And shouts turned whispers, friend to friend
