Learning to Say
No
I learned
through injury
the world will
not combust
if I don’t get
my to-dos done.
Though dishes stack up and floors gather crumbs,
the world will keep on spinning one day at a time,
reminding me even God rested on the seventh day.
And Jesus said that His yoke is easy and His burden is light.
