The Magic in My Life

I’m prone to live by fleeting fear and
whim—
whatever feels right and good at the time.
The magic in my life is Jesus Christ.
With God, all things are possible in Him.
When loud emotions bump this way and that,
His Word will steady me when all seems
grim.
My strength’s beyond what I can do myself.
When stresses of the day make life look
dim,
He helps me see the reason and the rhyme.
The magic in my life is Jesus Christ.
With peace and joy, He fills me to the
brim.
