Peculiar
9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal
priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the
praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light;
(1 Peter 2:9 KJV)
The people of God
May seem a bit odd,
But with God as the Dad,
We can’t be all bad.
Our commission from above
Is simply to love,
Shining the light
Amidst the night.
So even if it’s out of fashion,
We’ll praise Him with passion.
