Poem a Day
A common thing, for me, to write
A poem a day, no matter what.
It sounds somewhat amazing, but
They do not always come out right.
With target low, I set my sight,
And write whatever keys tap out.
To practice is what it’s about,
Like athletes do their drills for strength,
I write my poems of any length,
Though may not be a common route.
