imprompt Art Deco

Communication

The rounded wooden radios
fit in with their décor.
Folks listened to the baseball games,
Fibber McGee and war.

And then came the television.
News from far off places,
The Honeymooners and Lucy
upstaged family faces.

Now, with the young people’s noses
stuck to Iphones like glue.
Pick their parents from a lineup,
would they be able to?

I do believe my 4 year old grandson knows how to operate his folks I-pad. I don't have one...
I get boxed games and toys that we can play with. Except like all four year olds or most - he wants to direct the play.

I tell him I'd be happy to play with him, but I'm not going to sit on the floor and just watch him. Interaction is a good thing. ;)
