Positive Note
When one of my four sisters
and I talk on the phone,
we discuss everything
from what we ate that day,
our travels and upcoming trips,
to our cares, concerns,
challenges and victories. Then,
invariably one of us will
bring up a death, disaster,
catastrophe, or calamity
and of course we need
to keep talking
to end
on a positive note.
