Blue Whale
The sun
shone through blue waters
showing the silhouette
of a blue whale
in a
graceful pose, its long head pointing forward,
less than half
way back its flippers curved as if in a dance.
The tail tapered
back ending in a full mustache-shaped fluke.
The whale’s length
is about three school buses
and its
heart, the size of a car.
