Poem for Judy's retirement

“Worry Stones”

We worked together day by day,
And we’ve become quite close.
So now as I retire from here,
Let’s not become morose.

Because you mean so much to me,
I’ve brought a little gift.
They’re pretty, shiny and some fun
And helps your spirit lift.

You rub your thumb along the groove
To whisk worries away.
And as you fidget think good thoughts
And keep your fears at bay.
