Lilacs
In
Colorado, out my front door,
purple
lilacs take me back
to my
Pennsylvania childhood
where
huge bushes graced country roads
and paths
with exhilarating fragrance,
as I
ran past, with wisps of appreciation,
to play with cousins and friends
