Steady as she goes, that’s what Hubby said
That’s about right, I suppose.
Determined, wherever I’m led
Steady as she goes
Persevering, Hubby knows
Faithful, steadfast, forty years wed
Plodding onward through highs and lows
Tenacious, unwavering, full steam ahead
Never stops, but often slows
Step by step, till I’m dead
