Of All the Dumb Things
I’ve done a lot
of stupid things
Though I’m not
so dumb
I bring them up
to myself
Until I’m
feeling numb
But I hear a
voice telling me
You’re human,
don’t despair
You haven’ done
anything
That’s way
beyond repair
Nobody’s
perfect including me
I will oft
declare it
Whenever I do
dumb things
I’ll just grin
and bear it
