Merry Isolation
We had family Christmas
plans
To stay at a resort
It didn’t quite work out
as planned
I’m sorry to report
Oh, hubby and kids, they
are there
Having fun in the sun
But I’m at home isolating
Yes, COVID is no fun
I isolate, anticipate
When test shows negative
I’ll drive down to their
Phoenix home
For I have gifts to give
But I’ve found my alone
time good
A time of restful peace
But twill be great to go
see them
The time of my release
