Why It’s Hard to Get Things Done
There are three brothers
named time, motivation and
energy.
Motivation says, “Let’s do
this!”
But Time says, “Not now,
I’m busy.”
Energy sometimes agrees
with Motivation, but other
times,
he takes sides with Time
and rather go back to bed.
When Time gets around to
saying,
“I’m available now!”
Then Energy says,
“Go away!”
Motivation tries to kick
Energy’s butt, since Time
is ready to go. But Energy
says, “I’m feeling low.”
Then Energy agrees with
Time,
but Motivation says, “Why
bother?”
These
three don’t always cooperate.
And that’s
why it’s hard to get things done.
