Compassion’s Creator, Comforting God
Who cheers us up in our difficulties
So we can relate and reach out to all
Compassion’s Creator, Comforting God
Who loves the unlovely and heals our wounds
Brushes us off, picks us up when we fall
Who hugs us and wipes the tears from our eyes
Who sticks with us till contentment resumes
Who cheers us up in our difficulties
So in love, Your people can do likewise
Yay God, the Father of the Lord Jesus
