Love Expressed
Romans 1:20 says God expressed
His divine nature, eternal power
and invisible qualities in nature.
So when I enjoy the fragrance
of lilacs, freshness after spring rain,
crushed leaves of autumn.
Delight in bubbling creeks,
tall pines singing in wind,
cricket choirs on summer nights.
Appreciate towering mountains,
bright symmetry of flowers,
orange sunrise over an ocean.
Welcome warmth of spring rain
softness of cute kittens,
energizing coldness of winter.
Savor sweetness of juicy grapes
tartness of Jonathan apples
tanginess of grapefruits and oranges.
I’m saying to God, “I love You back!”
