The Great Salt Lake
Driving over the long straight causeway
to Antelope State Park in Utah
I felt like I was entering another world.
A parched, salty world
where only brine shrimp
and various birds live.
There is a stillness,
a hush about the place.
Isolated.
The expansive Great Salt Lake
Where you can bob around
on the salty water
like a fishing float.
