PAD 28 Blank wave, English madrigal

A Japanese Wave

One year, a Japanese boy stayed with us.
We loved to learn from him and his new ways.

He made us laugh, enjoy the summer days.

One day, he played with friends in yard and thus,
We bid him go with friendly goodbye wave.
One year, a Japanese boy stayed with us.
We loved to learn from him and his new ways.

Meant “come” to him, we had failed to discuss.
We tried to motion that he then should stay.
He gave us one lengthy, bamboozled gaze.
One year, a Japanese boy stayed with us.
We loved to learn from him and his new ways.
He made us laugh, enjoy the summer days.
