At times like these I wonder how and why
That God can love mere humans such as I
Considering creation’s wide expanse
God is to us as we are to a fly
Ah, but His passion proved beyond compare
When He designed a plan for us to spare
From common sin’s misguided tyranny
That brought humanity into its snare
From Adam He began to implement
His plan until His only Son He sent
To pay the costly price of human sin
We only must believe Him and repent
We are just like a snowflake in the sun
Life ends so soon it seems it’s just begun
Eternity will stretch out like a sea
The only boat afloat is God’s own Son
