My Pretty Pendant
We walked along the Santa
Barbara Street
Perusing local vendors’
arts and crafts
We went for several blocks
despite the heat
The five of us shared
memories and laughs
While looking at the wares
and photographs
We came upon a booth with
cute jewelry
Took closer steps to see
what I could see
An artist sat there hoping
to make sales
I liked the gal who seemed
a friend to me
Thanks for the owl with
belly full of shells
