you just do life,
even when
you travel.
Spent the
morning writing.
Shakespeare’s
theater.
I can
imagine it being in the day.
Lady
said, “Smellier and noisier then.”
Couldn’t
hear or laugh at the jokes.
Self-promise,
to get ears checked
and to
read Comedy of Errors.
Chai latte
at Starbucks.
Cold wait
at pier.
They
finally let us on.
Boat
cold, food good.
Thames
river cruise.
Non-alcoholic
drinks for teetotaler.
Water and
ginger ale
Fruit-juice
drink
Tea with
cream and sugar.
First
time to taste caviar, salty.
Lamb, cabbage
and potatoes
Salmon
salad, rhubarb dessert.
Magical
moment
Colors
just right
London
bridge lit behind us.
Came home
late.
Greeted
by a fox at the gate.
Settled
in for a content sleep.
